©2004 with TAS logo Back of pocket with Perle Cotton Quilting

This pocket can be adapted to your own Guild logo or Club logo as shown.  Anita M. Smith, Founder of The Appliqué Society (TAS) designed this pocket for one of the TAS newsletters.  Since Jeannie Austin designed the TAS logo originally, Anita used some of Jeannie's border designs, reduced them and put together this unique design. It was appliquéd on a dark background and Janet Smith's hand dyed fabrics for the appliqué.  Presencia's Finca Perle Cotton size 16 was used for embellishments and the quilting.  Anita M. Smith can custom design a pocket for your Guild using your logo.  Or you can use the pattern shown that will not have the logo in the center area when you receive your pattern.  The TAS logo is copyrighted and the photo sample is used as an example only for your reference.  The design on the right and left are part of the pattern you will receive.

The pocket is wonderful to use. I use an elastic band with a fancy button to put the pocket on.  I use it for my classes to keep my scissors, thimble and thread in it while I walk around the classroom.  I have also used it for money when I sell in my quilt booth.  It is very versatile in its uses.
